Words Through Time...

I was sleeping when I heard someone saying: “ The course of true love never did run smooth ” and this whispering sound was just over when another babbling voice started passing through my eardrums: Doubt thou the starts are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love. The moment the last line: “ But never doubt I love ” reached to my eardrums, it didn’t take me long to figure it out that this is Shakespeare’s voice who is reading out his second act of the second scene from “Hamlet” . But even post figuring out the persona behind the whispering and babbling voice still I was bit confused about why Shakespeare is reading this for me? And to know the reason I asked him, “Did I fall in love? With whom did I fall? Do I know her? Did we meet each other? They went on a movie date but we must say this outing, “a date” (hypothetically) as they weren’t a usual couple nor were they just friends. Although both of them were having feelings for each other but not the same as one holds for another. In short, we can say, both of them were more than friends and less than a couple. And there were many reasons and a lot of things they have gone through before reaching this conclusion in their last few months of getting this much closer to each other. Let’s have a quick flashback to their story. All this started in lockdown when they were asked to work from home due to the massive surge in COVID-19 cases. O Man! What kind of a person are you? Never disclose yourself to anyone. Never tell anyone about what you're going through? Keeping yourself mute and looking at the ceiling is not going to help you, my friend. Staring at the moon, counting stars, having sleepless nights, roaming around the streets cluelessly, talking less, putting yourself in hardship will never ever help you. Irony is that you never know when you start attracting towards someone or start having some deep feelings for the respective person. And believe me this is the dangerous part of human psychology and its lifecycle as you start creating your own imaginary world without caring or thinking about the consequences. Moreover, you constantly start telling the person what you feel, act childishly in front of them without having fear of being judged as you consider that person one of your most trustworthy person as well as you do all of these things having that one hope that someday they will acknowledge your feelings and will appreciate you for being so patient for all this time.
